A two-day workshop to guide 15 art students about how to take their comic art online and get ready as artists to monetize their work.
Day 1: How comic artists use online communities to get their art out to a larger audience. We talked about the right platforms to network on and how each social media platform is unique for artists to build a professional profile.
Day 2: We created our teaser posts, learned hashtags strategy and content planning, got our hands on the essential Canva post design tips, and social media scheduling tools, and also learned how to create time-lapse and transition reels for sketches.
By the end of the workshop, the students were ready with their social media platforms ready to run engagement campaigns.
